6. CHANGE IMPS TO MATCHPOINTS (IF YOU WANT TO SEE PERCENTAGES ON EACH BOARD)
7. SLIDE PERMISSION REQUIRED TO PLAY (LEAVE OTHER OPTIONS AS THEY ARE)
8. PUT USERNAMES IN SEATS
9. START TABLE – RELAXED GAME

At our last Committee meeting we agreed to change to a new handicap system, based on the EBU (English Bridge Union) calculations. For the majority of our members there will be little difference to the overall results and for a small few there maybe a slight re-rank. The big difference is that the handicaps are no longer static. Each week your handicap may change, as this is a dynamic system. It is based on lots of boards (up to 2000) and each week your latest results are added to the calculation. Not only that, your results are based on the strength of your opponents.

Elaine, Carol and AnneShirley, Noelene, Julie & AnnePresentations were made at the AGM to our new Life Member, Noelene Shrimpton, and outgoing committee members Anne, Carol and Elaine.

2020 Subscriptions are now due. Home $60, Associate $37. New member joining fee $20.
Please pay online to our subscriptions bank a/c no 03-0374-0045537-01. Programme books are available at the club and the Programme is online under 'Articles'.

2020 Beginner's lessons start on Thursday Feb 13th, 7.15pm-9.30pm, please arrive by 7.00pm. The cost is $70 and lessons last for 15 weeks. If anyone is uncertain if Bridge is for them, they are welcome to come along and just try it for a week or two. Please encourage friends, family, workmates and neighbours to come and try our wonderful game. For more info ring Bren on 07 5752474.
