2021 National Congress comes to Baypark
The NZ Bridge Congress committee run this event, not local clubs, but we will be called upon to provide local support when needed. One of the most important will be for us to provide standby players and caddies. At the start of every event, the Congress organisors need to have players waiting in case there is an odd number of players, or someone is sick. This will be voluntary, but many do get a game, which of course is free for standby pairs. Caddies are paid.

Update from Diane, President, 16th September
Hello to all our bridge club members
Firstly a big thank you to those of you who attended our general special meeting and thank you to those who sent in their apologies. We had 83 present and 17 apologies. It was great to see members fielding some very important questions. For those who could not be there the vote in principal to merge with the surf club was unanimous except for two. Now the hard work begins.
